Clear conditions for starting, using and leaving Hanchae.

1. Service and operator
Hanchae brings apps, resources, tasks and notes into a chae and records focus time and completed work. This draft covers personal web and directly distributed desktop subscriptions.
The current developer and operator is Soomin Park (박수민), an individual developer in South Korea, reachable at [email protected]. Business registration has not been completed, and registered business details and address have not been confirmed. Final sales documents will identify the confirmed operator.
2. Account and use
An account is required. Use your own account, protect your sign-in methods and ensure you have rights to the materials and connected services you use.
Do not access other people’s accounts or data without permission, use unlawful materials, interfere with the service or evade payment and trial limits. Where reasonably possible, restrictions for abuse or security will include a reason and a way to contact us or seek a remedy.
3. Prices, renewal and trial
Essential costs $39 monthly or $348 annually; Signature costs $69 monthly or $588 annually. Prices are USD before tax and annual totals are prepaid. The $29/$49 monthly equivalents are not monthly charges. Applicable tax and the final total are shown before payment.
Subscriptions renew automatically on the selected cycle. One 14-day trial per account starts after card registration and trial subscription creation, then converts to the selected paid subscription. South Korean customers must separately consent to the first paid charge through Paddle’s email flow; without that consent, it does not renew.
Before starting, the selected plan, cycle, trial end, first charge date, total and cancellation method are shown. The policy provides a start confirmation and a payment reminder email at least 7 days before trial end. Canceling before the end avoids the first charge and keeps access until the original end.
Purchases use Paddle’s sales and payment process and RevenueCat subscription verification. The Paddle seller details and buyer terms shown at purchase also apply. Mobile-store and team-product conditions are separate and outside this draft.
Both plans include the same core features and five desktop AI features. The trial provides 200 credits total. Paid Essential provides 1,000 monthly credits and Signature 3,000, shared across the account.
Successful task recommendations, record summaries, capture classifications and note task candidate requests cost 1 credit each; background generation costs 20. Successful abstentions and empty candidate results count. Provider/output validation failures and inputs that make no call cost 0. Rechecking or resending the same request does not charge again.
Paid allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC without rollover. The first paid charge provides that month’s allowance and trial credits do not carry over. Annual subscriptions also receive monthly allowances; an expired subscription does not regain entitlement just because a month changes.
No automatic overage charges or extra credit purchases are offered. Only AI stops at the limit. Input and credit cost are disclosed before execution. AI suggestions may be wrong; review them before use. Mobile AI screens may differ from desktop.
5. Cancellation, refunds and changes
Cancel the next automatic renewal through subscription management in the app or the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation preserves access for the original trial or paid period and is separate from refunds and account deletion. Cancel with the purchase provider and confirm it before deleting your account.
Request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid Hanchae charge. The one-time guarantee covers the first payment after a trial and monthly or annual plans, with no deduction for AI use. Repurchases, changes and renewals do not each create a new guarantee.
Request through Paddle buyer support or [email protected] with your billing email and receipt/transaction number. Paddle handles the refund; automatic approval is not promised. Refunding the entire current service period ends that paid entitlement but preserves data. Refunding an older charge does not arbitrarily end a separately valid current subscription.
After the guarantee, we do not normally offer prorated refunds for a change of mind. Mandatory local withdrawal/refund rights and remedies for defects or non-delivery take precedence over this customer policy and provider terms.
The change policy is immediate, prorated upgrades within the same cycle, with downgrades and monthly↔annual changes at the next billing renewal. Changing tier and cycle together also waits until renewal. Annual downgrades wait until annual renewal. Trial changes require confirmation of the first charge conditions without resetting the trial period or allowance.
Before a change, you see the next billing date, charge now, new total and AI limit. Changes or repurchases do not reset the same month’s AI usage. Payment failures use only provider grace periods; verification errors are not treated as a successful free or paid status.
You retain rights to your tasks, notes and other materials. Hanchae processes content only as needed for the storage, sync, integrations, AI and support you request, and for security; ownership is not transferred. Privacy explains information and providers.
Stored tasks, notes and sessions are not deleted just because a subscription ends, while your account remains open. Reading, export, individual deletion, subscription management and account deletion remain available. New content/edits, session starts, AI requests and external Calendar changes require a valid trial or subscription.
Sessions started before expiry may be finished, and accepted records or changes completed. Unsent drafts are preserved and exportable. Offline writing is allowed within the validity of the last server-confirmed entitlement; errors or expiry do not discard originals or drafts.
Account deletion removes data and trial history through the deletion workflow. Original files, exports, Google events and offline-device copies are not all deleted automatically. Provider transaction records, backups and shorter-lived data follow the separate conditions in Privacy.
7. Connected services and reliability
Google sign-in and Calendar consent are separate. Hanchae reads or changes events and records focus time within granted permissions. Invitations, edits and deletion can affect real Google events; review details before acting. Disconnecting does not delete existing events.
Sync is not a backup service with user-selectable recovery points. Export important material separately. We work to recover from errors or outages and give relevant notice of changes or interruptions affecting use.
These terms do not broadly waive liability for Hanchae’s intentional or negligent conduct, or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Connected providers’ terms also apply to their services.
8. Changes, beta transition and contact
We do not adversely change price or benefits midway through an already paid period. Necessary changes are announced with their date, scope and content, after checking next-renewal application and required local notice and consent.
The current beta’s 60 monthly credits are not a launch allowance commitment. We announce the paid transition at least 14 days beforehand. Existing accounts must register a card and create a trial subscription; existing data is not silently deleted.
Contact [email protected] about use, billing, data or disputes. Mandatory law, consumer protections and jurisdictional rights that apply to you are not excluded.
Before publication
Confirm operator details, effective date, age eligibility, legal-representative consent and dispute conditions.
Verify the adopted policy against the actual Paddle seller, products, checkout, cancellation, refunds and plan changes.
Finalize international transfers and retention in Privacy and connect separate notices/consents required at purchase.
